Update: PTA Reflections

One Proud Mama

Back in October, I shared with you The Divine Miss M’s PTA Reflections Visual Arts Entry. I may have also shared with you that she entered also in the categories of Literature and Photography.
Here is a photo recap:

PTA Reflections, Visual Arts Entry Together We Can...GO Green
Miss M’s Photography Entry
Together We Can..Pioneer the Way

Her Literature Entry:

Together we can paint stripes on a zebra, maybe red;
or tuck a snuggly bear into bed.

Together we can put a hat on a cat
Or wrestle a hippo to the mat.

Together we can sing
Because together we can do anything!

Saturday we received invitations–THREE if we’re counting–announcing that ALL of Miss M’s entries WON FIRST PLACE and have advanced to Council.

Tonight we are attending the Award Ceremony to be recognized for her entries and learn if she advances to Region!

The best part:

This year’s school PTA is not recognizing or announcing winners until December so it came as a surprise to us and the Divine Miss M has no idea that she has won anything!

I’ll update you tomorrow with our Award Ceremony Adventures!
