Two big events are in my future and my goal is to lose weight. It’s the story of my life. I have counted calories, eaten shelf stable food, gone on protein shake meal replacements and now I’m enjoying delicious food, exercising maybe 20-minutes a day. I’ve given up counting calories, trying to get more in a container, weighing food and all that. I’m just eating, staying hydrated and walking 20-minutes a day.

We went hiking that afternoon in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I grabbed a black McCafe Coffee.
For lunch, I packed a Kale Smoothie because it was easy.
Then for dinner, I made Italian Provolone Chicken using the Italian Breaded Chicken with a vegetable blend. It took me 4 minutes and my husband’s jaw dropped at how little time it took me.
Monday was my real test. I had to work.
I grabbed a breakfast and protein and veggie out of the freezer and bolted out the door to work.
I ate a Frittata with Bacon for breakfast–it took 1.5 minutes to heat at work.
I drank coffee.
For lunch, I had Fajita Chicken with California Vegetable Blend.
I had finished and carried on for almost 30-minutes when one of my co-workers came in and asked, “What is that smell? It smells so good!”
The family even went out to eat and it was easy staying true to the Personal Trainer Food Plan. I just picked a protein and doubled up on the veggies. Easy peasy.

The food is incredibly good. I keep telling my husband I cannot believe how much flavor is in every bite. It’s so convenient and easy. I don’t even have to think about what I’m taking to work.
This is huge. I think when we diet we become obsessed with food. We become consumed with how many calories we can eat, how many we have left, how many are in this or that. We count points and stress over how many we have left, how many are in this or that. We spend so much time prepping our meals for the next day. It becomes this circle where food is on our mind at all times.
