He’s promoting his new film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 but today, it was about him–Chris Pratt. He’s earned a Star on the infamous Hollywood Walk of Fame. Today, surrounded by his family and his Guardians, Chris Pratt proves that nice guys don’t always finish last.

It was perhaps Parks and Rec that cast him into the spotlight. We stuttered on his name when he was cast as a ballplayer in Moneyball. There was Zero Dark Thirty, Her, Delivery Man, The Five-Year Star LordEngagement and then it happened. He had the lead in Jurassic Park and is THE Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy.
His name, once a whisper has become a rumble.

While today was about Chris Pratt, it may have been his wife, Anna Faris who stole the show. She shared the morning’s events leading up to the ceremony with her live tweets of their morning leading up to the ceremony as her husband received the 2,607th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, located at 6834 Hollywood Blvd., in front of the El Capitan Theatre.
