Sassie Lassie Costume Review

60 Days ’til Halloween

Sassie Lassie Costume Review

Over the weekend, we harvested grapes. Yesterday it hailed the size of marbles; we made grape juice and had caramel apples for dessert. It’s a sure sign my favorite season is arriving–Fall! One of my favorite things about Fall is Halloween! We’re gearing up at our house.

My children love the opportunity to dress up. For two years, I’ve gone as Super Grover with them. It’s a homemade suit and keeps me warm. This year I had the opportunity to try something new. I selected a Woman”s Plus Size Sassie Lassie costume, and it’s been a hoot!

Halloween means costume parties, and this year I’m ready! Dream Girl makes the Sassie Lassie costume, one of the better-made costumes I’ve experienced. The costume includes a red, off-the-shoulder dress with a velvet corset section and an attached pleated skirt. It comes complete with a matching hat, belt with a purse attached, and two-leg garters with plaid bows.

I was impressed by how comfortable the fabric is to wear, and the stitching is not your chop shop sewing. All seams are secure and hemmed, preventing puckers, tears, and those nasty runs.

The costume has a matching Highlander Costume for the perfect duo. I”m still working on my husband–I think he’s afraid to tilt the kilt!

You can find all your adult costume needs, including Super Heroes, Sexy Costumes, Renaissance, and costumes new for 2010! Costume Discounters offers children’s costumes and plenty of accessories to make this Halloween perfect!

I was provided the Sassie Lassie Costume in exchange for my honest opinion. No other compensation was received. The opinions are my own and were in no way influenced by the sponsor.
