San Lori Hot Chick Candles Review

Candles that Reflect the Hot Chick You ARE!
Come to our house most days, and you’ll find a candle burning somewhere in the house. We love the atmosphere of the flickering flame and the aroma that fills the air. It’s what makes our house a home.

This month, San Lori has introduced a new product line to their fun and whimsical stationery products–candles! The line is called Hot Chicks. These candles are aromatically pleasing with six very creative scents!

Each Hot Chicks candle is gift packaged, allowing you to customize the gift tag right on the box. The candles are a fun way to remember someone (even yourself) with fun and flirty names like Espresso Yourself and Olive My Love. Each candle comes complete with a trademark fuchsia plume!

The Hot Chicks line offers unique scents that evoke a different personality. Choose your recipient’s or your own style: firey, strong, in-demand, fresh, competitive, attractive, sexy, fashionable or fierce? Sound like you or someone you know? Then Hot Chicks is the candle for you!

We received the Espresso Yourself Hot Chicks decorative candle for review. I love cappuccinos and hazelnut so just looking at this candle had me salivating. My husband thought it smelled very sweet–which is probably why I love the combination!

We also received the same scents of Olive My Love, Cosmo Compatible, LaVie Gypsy, French Kiss, and Sea and be Seen. My household occupants thought the names were clever and creative and a fresh change for some of the more familiar names of candles. We did a blindfolded smell test, and here’s how the scents ranked at our house:

Sea and be Seen: This was the hands-down favorite. Perhaps the scent of an Ocean Breeze & White Ginger had us all wishing of a beach get-a-way. It has a motto: Sun, Surf & Smiles. You direct your feet… to the sunny side of the street!

A distant second was the La Vie Gypsy. This was not really a surprise to me as my husband is a big fan of the scents: Sandalwood and Patchouli. Its motto: “Don’t tell me how educated you are; tell me how much you traveled.”

Relatively close to the La Vi Gypsy was the Cosmo Compatible. It’s a mélange of cranberry and citrus liqueur, with the motto:” If the shoe fits, buy it in every color!” After smelling this candle a few times, my husband said it had a great fruity smell.

Then there was a huge gap. Back and forth went the candles. Eventually, the votes came back.

French Kiss ranked fourth. This surprised me as my husband and children usually rave about the smell of lavender and verbena. I was told this candle smells more lavender than verbena. It’s an instant romance with the motto: Comprenez-Vous Fabulous?

Espresso Yourself was popular with my girls, but the boys didn’t find it appealing. This infusion of cappuccino & hazelnut was enough to cause an argument over where it ranked. Its motto: “I haven’t had my coffee yet, don’t make me kill you.” is pretty self-explanatory of why the gals at my house love it!

Olive My Love was the least favorite. It’s a combo of olive, sage & thyme with the motto: La Dolce Vita! You want olive it.
Hot Chicks candles make the perfect gift for women’s birthdays or any moment you want just to indulge your senses. This line of flirty fragranced candles retails between $15 and $20, depending on the retailer.

I received the product mentioned in this post as compensation. No other compensation was received. The opinions are my own and were in no way influenced by the sponsor. Others’ experiences may vary.
