K’Nex Mario vs. Chain Chomper Building Set Review

At our house we are no strangers to K’NEX. They’ve been part of our toy room since the early 1990s. I love that the kiddos enjoy playing, building, and using their imagination to power these great toys. As Jake grew, video games became his choice. In the spring, Jake was surprised by how far K’Nex had come since he was small when he helped Li’l Man assemble the Mario Kart for Wii K’Nex set, bringing Mario and Luigi to life.

K’Nex Mario vs. Chain Chomper Building Set Review

Under our tree is the K’NEX Mario Vs Chain Chomp Building Set. It’s addressed to all the boys. Video games and building sets are all three things in common. It doesn’t matter the age difference, they all love working together to create characters from their favorite games. It’s the perfect mix of fun!

The Mario vs. Chain Chomp Building Set has a lot of fun inside with:

  • Parts to build Mario a Sprinter Kart with super-fast, battery powered motor
  • Chain Chop Obstacle
  • 2 collectible items (star and banana peel)
  • 6 pieces of interconnectable track
The instructions are simple enough that they can all work together. Some can read, and others cannot. It’s a great set up!

It will compliment the Mario and Standard Kart Building Set and Luigi and Standard Bike Building Set we already own, providing some great fun hours.
The package can be re-used as a ramp for even more after-building fun. For ages 6+

About K’NEX:

“K’NEX is the next generation of construction sets. It inspires creativity, builds self-confidence and encourages interaction among children and parents. The possibilities are endless!”
