Sometimes, my body needs a break from my poor eating habits.
It needs the opportunity to reset.
It’s true that the body has a robust detoxification system built right in.
The liver, the kidneys, the lungs, the intestines, and the skin all working together to keep me going.
About every six months, I am eager to dump unwanted toxins but ambivalent about which detox programs are safe and healthy.
It’s time for a detox.
FitTea is a detox tea.
One of the things that made me decide to try it is the fact that it involves nothing more than drinking a glass of tea in the morning and again at night.
I like tea and I drink it often, so I felt this was a detox I could do.
In reading about the product before receiving it for my FitTea Review, I learned it is an all-natural and gives you energy, boosts your metabolism, aids in digestive health and boosts fat-loss naturally in problem areas. (This claim has not been evaluated by the FDA.)
This is the least complicated detox I’ve ever done.
FitTea is easy to prepare.
Simply place one tea bag into a cup of almost boiling water and steep for 3-5 minutes.
Remove tea bag and enjoy hot or cold.
You can even add honey and lemon to taste if you like!
The teabags are a soft mesh bag.
You can actually SEE what’s inside and there’s plenty of hardy chunks of goodness!
The ingredients are all things I can pronounce: Organic Green Tea, Oolong Wu Yi, Organic Rooibos, Ginger, Pomegranate, Guarana, Birch, Stevia, Corn, and Honey Powder.
I made a cup each morning at work. It does have some caffeine, though, I think it is less than my usual cup of coffee.
I kept a glass in the refrigerator for an afternoon refreshment. I didn’t add anything to the tea.
I thought FitTea tasted just fine naked.
It has stevia and honey powder so there’s a touch of sweetness.
Nothing overwhelming, it’s all very subtle.
A fusion of good, delicious tasting tea.
In every detox I’ve ever done, I’ve had to hover close to the restroom.
This was not the case with FitTea.
Everything was gentle.
I had a gentle burst of energy. I did become more regular, but it, too, was gentle.
Together, the FitTea ingredients provide a fast-working and natural detox.
These natural ingredients also offer benefits beyond detox: weight loss, increased energy levels, suppressing appetite, and natural antioxidants.
Natural teas like FitTea have been used all over the world for thousands of years for weight loss and increased energy which helps anyone with a fitness program.
It is recommended to drink plenty of water, exercise daily, and eat a balanced diet while drinking FitTea.
Did they live up to it?
My FitTea Results:
Within three days of drinking FitTea twice a day, I had ankles again.
I didn’t have to wear compression socks at night to get the swelling down in my calves.
I slept far better than I had prior to drinking FitTea.
My pants were a tad more comfortable.
By the end of the first week, I was down one pound on the scale.
I feel like I had less binge eating and my cravings were minute.
These two things are a huge victory!
There a few things that really stand out about FitTea.
It tastes good.
It isn’t powerful.
It’s a detox program that’s really easy to do.
There are no complicated directions, no hovering at the door of the restroom.
Just drink two cups a day.
It’s easy to prepare–one tea bag to a cup of almost boiling water that you allow steeping for 3-5 minutes.
Finally, I didn’t change a single thing about my eating.
My biggest joy in this is that I am out of the compression socks and my ankles are back!
I believe along the lines of Marc David, Founder of the Institute for the Psychology of Eating in Boulder, Colorado.
David emphasizes the importance of taking a larger view when it comes to detoxing the body: A truly healthy detox process is about gaining physical and emotional vitality, he says, not losing pounds, achieving an unrealistic state of hygienic purity or finding an instant miracle cure for a chronic condition.
After all, he points out, “There are no historical references to fasting so as to look better in a bikini.”
Even without the detox benefits, FitTea tastes real, really good and I look forward to my morning ritual. It’s a great way to start my day.
