My husband thinks I’m nuts. I tell him I have chronic exhaustion. I became his guinea pig one day when the mailman delivered Alpha Brain.
Alpha Brain is the brainchild of Aubrey (Chris) Marcus from Onnit.com and Joe Rogan. It is said to be the most powerful nootropic on the market. I had no idea what any of this meant.
From the Onnit website:
Alpha Brain®, the flagship cognitive enhancer from Onnit Labs, is marketed as a natural, fully balanced nootropic, and current research on the ingredients listed supports the suggested use. The formula combines Glyceryl Phosphoryl Choline, Huperzia Serrata, Vinpocetine, AC-11®, Bacopa, Pterostilbene, Mucuna Pruriens, Gamma Amino-Butyric Acid, Oat Straw and Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) to collectively produce an effect designed to enhance memory, focus, athletic performance, and REM sleep cycles. With a very strong safety profile and significant research on the ingredients contained within Alpha Brain®, there is ample evidence supporting the claims being made by Onnit Labs™.
I didn’t change my diet or start training jujitsu or anything else that would cause me to sweat. It wasn’t a requirement. I also stuck to my self-diagnosis that I was simply chronically exhausted.
Within the first three days, my brain was no longer cloudy. I could focus on minimal tasks.
This was a huge plus, but I was astonished when it came to sleep. I have terrible sleep patterns. I lay in bed tossing and turning. I wake up. Call it being a mom, but it really begins to take a toll on a body. Come morning, I get out of bed and feel like I haven’t slept.
While taking the Alpha Brain, I noticed that sleep was almost immediate when I lay down. Better yet, when I woke up after my 4 to 6 hours of hibernation, I felt rested. I also noticed that I had dreams. I’m sure I dream every night, but before Alpha Brain, it was like any dreams left my memory as soon as my eyes opened.
On the Alpha Brain, I was far more decisive. Maybe because I was well-rested and didn’t have the cobwebs clouding my judgment. I consider myself creative, but I felt more inclined to put the creativity into motion on the Alpha Brain. I was productive and felt life was far more balanced.
Alpha Brain is $59.95 for 60 capsules. I took one in the morning and two capsules at night, per the directions.
It is my opinion that the Alpha Brain truly does improve the brain. It allowed me to focus, memory and rest while bringing my dreams to life in vivid color. I’m also adding a tally for me because I wasn’t nuts; my brain didn’t know where to connect everything. Alpha Brain cleared my head, and I’m now rocking like a Super Star.
