Pressure Cooker Jalapeno Popper Chili Recipe

This Pressure Jalapeno Popper Chili recipe has all the flavors of your favorite appetizer, but it’s served in a bowl with more beans and corn!

Every bite offers a kick of jalapeno (it’s what you’re looking for; right?).

A delicious broth accompanies a mixture of beans and meat with seasonings to make this chili your go-to recipe.

This recipe was created by Guadalupe in the Fissler souspreme multi-pot 

It’s similar to an Instant Pot and a top-rated electric pressure cooker.

Pressure Cooker Jalapeno Popper Chili Recipe

Ingredients for Jalapeno Popper Chili:

1 lb ground turkey 93% lean

1 lb ground beef 93% lean

1 Tbsp Adobo all-purpose seasoning with pepper

1/2 medium yellow onion, diced

1 clove of garlic, minced

2 large sweet potatoes, diced

1 green bell pepper, diced

1 fresh Serrano pepper, chopped (optional)

2 (14.5 ounce) cans petite diced tomatoes no salt added

1 (40 ounces) can dark red kidney beans 

1 (1.5 ounces) pack of slow cookers chili seasoning mix

3 cups of water

1/2 teaspoon sugar

½ teaspoon salt

1 (15.5 ounces) can great northern beans

1 (15.5 oounces) can black beans

2 (15.25 ounces) can of sweet corn no salt added

Feta cheese (optional)

How to Make Pressure Cooker Jalapeno Popper Chili:

Set your pressure cooker to Saute.

Add your ground turkey and ground beef with the garlic and onions.

Add the all-purpose seasoning.

Set your Fissler pot to Bean/Chili.

It is pre-set to 35 minutes.

Add your diced sweet potatoes, green bell pepper, fresh Serrano pepper (optional), petite diced tomatoes, dark red kidney beans, slow cooker chili mix, water, sugar, and salt.

My pot reached the max level at this point.

Stir all the ingredients together and close your pot and SEAL the pressure release valve.

Once the timer goes off, do a Quick Release by turning the pressure release valve to RELEASE until all the steam was out.

Remove the lid off, and set the pressure cooker to Saute, and added the can of great northern beans, black beans, and corn.

Bring to a boil and stir carefully so as not to mash the sweet potatoes.

Turn off the pot when Chili is done.

Serve and top off with feta cheese (optional).

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey 93% lean
