Mpix Collagewall For Life’s Special Events -Mother’s Day Promo Code

We have large wall spaces and I struggle with how to decorate them. Mpix collage wall personalizes the space perfectly and makes it look like you have some pretty amazing skills.

It’s my new go-to secret.

My husband is a perfectionist.

He measures.

He plans.

He measures again.

Mpix takes all that out of the equation.

On January 3, 2020, our daughter Kyra married.

After a year of preparation, the big day was beautiful.

Perfect weather.

Perfect time together.

Perfect pictures.

But what good were they if we had to pull them out every time it crossed your mind?

We could enlarge our favorites and navigate where to hang it…or put the prints in a cookie-cutter type collage frame.

Or.

We could turn to Mpix and create a memory collage wall.

We did the latter.

So much time, love and money went into Kyra’s wedding.

It was an event that deserved being highlighted.

We started with our favorite pictures from the wedding.

I’ll share the photos first and then the end-result.

Then we selected the collagewall option of our choice.

It was easy to navigate and didn’t require endless effort on how we wanted to final result to be laid out.

Mpix outlines how much space the finished piece will require–in our choice three-feet.

We put our favorite picture in the center (11×11) , as the focal point.

Then, we navigated to the next size down (11×5) in our collagewall layout.

We opted to use one of these for the bridal party.

The second of this size in the collage we chose a picture of the newly married couple, walking hand in hand through the orange grove as husband and wife.

The four 5×5 we went with one of our two other children who attended the wedding (one a bridesmaid, the other an usher).

The other three we chose of the bride and groom.

One with a similar pose to the one above that matches the 11×11. I just love the sun bursting through; don’t you?

Both photos also display her wood flower bouquet in her wedding colors.

The Final photo is just a sweet one of the two of them shortly after the ceremony. Filled with joy and almost joy that the planning is behind them and that their new life as husband and wife is beginning.

Once we uploaded our photos and used the template to size them according to the layout, we hit submit and waited for it to be delivered.

Shipping was fast.

My husband was surprised at the gift MacKenzie and I had created.

He asked how we wanted the pictures to be displayed and where.

We told him he didn’t have to measure.

We knew exactly where the collagewall was to go and everything he needed was included.

The photos are Semi-Gloss Photographic on Masonite.

The colors are true and vivid.

We chose the wall in our living room that is by the entranceway between the living room and kitchen.

My husband read through the step-by-step instructions.

Nothing complicated here at all.

My husband used the template to line up where the center point was and prepare to mount the collagewall.

He used the tools to mark the circles in the chart to hang each of the photos in our collagewall.

Then he removed the template and had the “pins” to hand each of the photos in the correct place.

The smaller photos, 5×5 and 11×5 required small squares of self-adhesive foam to be added to the corners of each one.

Sorry for the wretched focus.

My husband was taking it from me and well, here we are.

The smaller photos, 5x5 and 11x5 required small squares of self-adhesive foam to be added to the corners of each one.

Then one by one the pictures went up.

You can see how the foam corners lift the photos off the wall.

The end result?

I love the end result.

It is so perfectly spaced and tightly grouped that it really catches your eye.

It’s a gorgeous collagewall that was easy to create.

My husband said, “This is the neatest hanging system I’ve ever encountered.”

It might be more of a perfectionist than my husband!
