#IHeartOmron Fitness Challenge Update: 2 Pounds Gone!

As part of the #IHeartOmron Fitness Challenge, I’m competing against 24 other bloggers. My game is on! I’m eating healthier, exercising frequently and hoping slow and steady takes the lead.

Since the fitness challenge began, I’ve lost 2 pounds.

My calve muscles ache today, but I’ve managed to get out twice to walk, in the rain.

Each blogger received a HJ-323USB connected pedometer, Omron 510W Composition Monitor and Scale and at the end of the challenge a Strapless Heart Rate Monitor HR-500U.

I absolutely love the scale. It has some really nice features besides showing the weight. My body fat seems to be increasing in spite of my pounds dropping. I’m not stressing. It’s still week one.

A pedometer is a great tool and I love that it can be anywhere from on my body to in my bag and it still counts my steps. I’m struggling with it loading the information to the Omron Dashboard, however, it does have an immediate read display so I can target my goals and keep reaching for them throughout the day without effort.

I’m doing my exercises and today I have incredibly sore calves. I keep telling myself, “no pain, no gain”.

It’s a great journey ahead of me and I’m turning “hope” into a reality with my two-pound loss! It’s a beautiful thing!

Join me on this journey and make one small change for yourself.
