GourmetGiftBaskets.com always delights! They have gift baskets for every occasion and every price range. Last year we gave a gardening one to my daughter’s teacher as a thank you, and it was well received. Whether you’re looking for a cheerful gift for a family member, delivery for a baby shower or birth, a hostess gift for the holidays, a wedding gift or just a simple Thinking-of-You gift, GourmentGiftBaskets.com has you covered.

This season, we received the Nutcracker Drum Christmas Gift Basket.  My thoughts were to keep it as a decoration, but the temptation was too much for my kin. The decorative drum piled with tasty delights was opened while I was out running errands.

Here’s the description from the GourmetGiftBaskets.com site:

” …this stunning red and gold Nutcracker drum will delight for years to come. Overflowing with decadent festive treats, your recipient will rejoice in holiday cheer when they receive this stunning holiday gift basket. We’ve selected classic nutcracker cookies in both red and green, chocolate peppermint cookie brittle, peanut brittle, butter wafers, white chocolate amaretto wafers, English toffee caramels, peanut roll, and  praline pecans.”

Allow me to break that all down for you one more time:

· English Toffee Caramels by Marich – 2.1 oz. – Milk chocolate surrounds toffee flavored caramel. Do we need to say more?
· Peanut Roll by Dillon’s Gourmet – 3 oz. – Sweetly salty roasted peanuts and rich caramel encompass a nougat center of heaven.
· Praline Pecans by Dillon’s Gourmet – 2.5 oz. – This creamy pecan delight is a Southern, old-fashioned recipe and that’s why you’ll see it so many of our Christmas gift baskets.

The praline pecans stole my heart when I walked into the room. They were fabulous with their crunch and sweetness. We all hated sharing the Amaretto Wafers. They were King Sized but greed still set in with just a nibble. They were tasty! My kiddos devoured the chocolate peppermint cookie brittle, leaving not even a crumb. Who am I kidding? It was all an impressive treat from the aesthetics to the taste. Perfect!
