Ham, Cheese and Melon Skewers

Makes 20 skewers

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Total Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients;

2 large melons (canteloupe, honeydew, watermelon) cubed and balled

20 (about 1/2 pound) thin slices of Prosciutto or ham

40 small mozzarella balls

20 (4-inch) wooden skewers soaked in water

1 cup fresh basil leaves

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Thread Skewers:

To each skewer being threaded through the center of each piece in this order: melon ball, mozzarella ball, ham slice, melon ball, basil leaf, Mellon ball, mozzarella ball.

Once all skewers are complete, slightly sprinkle with pepper and salt.

Chill and serve.
