Homemade Playdough Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients and mix until incorporated.

Add vegetable oil and essential oil to dry mixture; stirring until small “crumbs” appear.

In a small saucepan, boil water and add food coloring, if using.

Create a “well” in the “crumb” mixture and add boiling water to the dry mixture’s “well”.

Stir until well combined and allow to cool.

Knead dough on a floured surface, adding more flour if it’s too wet or more water if it is too dry.

Homemade Playdough Tips:

Store homemade playdough in an airtight container. This will keep your playdough fresh and prevent it from drying out.

If your playdough does dry out, simply add a few drops of water to bring it back to life and enjoy it.

If your homemade playdough loses its fragrance, simply add more essential oils to revive its scent and enjoy its therapeutic properties.
