Celebrity Fashion Trends to Try this Season

We all love social media. Especially because that is the place, we feel most connected with our celebrity icons. And leave aside black gossip from The Shade Room, the Kardashians scandals, or celebrity breakups. Let’s talk about fashion, shall we?

Rihanna, Audrey Hepburn, Zendaya, and Bella Hadid, just to mention a few, are some of the most celebrated fashion icons in 2021. If you are looking to recreate your celebrity style and light up these streets this season, here are some of the best celebrity fashion trends you should add to your closet;

Bright and Bold

If you are always scrolling through Instagram, you have seen this. While it was hard to see two bright colors in one look, this is the trend right now. Wearing bright colors is not just simply pulling out some pieces from your closet and pulling a look.

It is making a statement; unique, different, and noticeable. If you are looking to establish your presence, immediately, in every room you enter then you might as well choose to put together bright and bold. You can be bold all the way, from the outfit to shoes. Or you can choose to just throw a bright bag as an add-on to your accessories.

● Prints and Patterns

Prints and patterns are the new celebrity style, from the wild, Rihanna’s cheetah-print coat to Kylie’s cheetah jumpsuit, and Paris Hilton Leopard prints, you can also be a star with these. The good news is, they don’t just come in a coat or a jumpsuit. You can also get shirts, dresses, and two pieces.

Patterns are also ever in fashion. And you can get just about any patterns you like; from checked to borderlines, and floral. Don’t just be dull with whites and greys. How about a floral dress instead, or a checked shirt instead of that sky-blue one?

The 80s and 90s

Remember the bell-bottomed trousers era? Or when fashion meant crop tops, bucket hats, slip dresses, and black leather jackets with shoulder pads? Well, that never really left. Or at least, they are making a triumphant return, every day. And the good thing is, you can always play around with these styles.

It is more common to see more celebrities with slip dresses but this time around, made more modern by sneakers or converse. Overalls are also a trend these days. But don’t wear them like everyone else; play with the straps, fashion one shoulder or both shoulders folded down for a unique look.

The Mini Bags

Mini bags have come with a bang, from multiple brands and in multiple colors and designs. From strap bags, shoulder bags, clutches and purses, and more. Look at your best celebrity photos this week and tell me you don’t notice one trend; mini bags; from Rihanna, Kim, Jean Danker, and just about any of your favorites.

They come in handy with just about any style, textures, colors, or design you decide to wear; whether it is just jeans and a t-shirt, a cute slip dress, beach shorts, or any other outfit. You can also pair them up with some accessories like trendy sunglasses.

Knit Wear

If you have been at the front row with fashion, you need to see how celebrities are rocking knitwear this season. From cardigans, blazers, and even tracksuits, they are also booming in different designs and colors from plain greys to mix colors and patterns.

You can style a chunky grey knit sweater with a matching skirt and tuck in. Or, a voluminous mustard knit sweater, styled with black skinny jeans or a mini-skirt. A fitting light knit top also goes well with just any bottoms, whether you choose pants, shorts, or a long pleated skirt.
