Black and Decker Ultimate Sandwich

We love sandwiches at our house. They take on many forms, breakfast, snack, lunch and dinner. When I heard Black and Decker had the Ultimate Sandwich Contest, there was no doubt I wanted to enter. Using the  Black and Decker Convection Countertop Toaster Oven, the challenge was to build a sandwich with creative use of ingredients, original and yummy factor of the sandwich photo.

We brainstormed and then decided to do a Chicken Nugget Slider. It’s so easy that my five-year-old can make it by himself and tasty enough my husband will feast on a handful. It’s the perfect anytime snack and has made dinner time great fun.

Chicken Nugget Sliders

Ingredients:
Tyson Complete White Meat Chicken Nuggets
Cheese of choice (we used Marbleized Cheddar)
Green Ruffle Lettuce
Tomato slices
Slider buns
Dipping sauces (honey mustard, BBQ, Horseradish, Ranch, Thousand Island)
Directions:
Place 10-12 Tyson Chicken Nuggets on the tray.
Slice cheese (We laid the cheese horizontal and sliced the narrow end)
Place one cheese slice on each chicken nugget
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes in the Black and Decker Convection Countertop Toaster Oven
While the nuggets bake, open slider buns and add lettuce ruffle and tomato slice.
Remove nuggets from oven and place one nugget on the prepared slider bun.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
