The Hampton Inn Happiness Stays Here

The Hampton Inn is one of our favorite places for staycations and vacations. My kiddos get giddy at the thought of staying at The Hampton Inn.

Looking for a waterslide hotel near Winston-Salem, NC? Try The Hampton Inn’s Bermuda Runn. Off I-40, 14 miles from Winston-Salem. Stroll by the river in Tanglewood Park, two miles away, and enjoy the arboretum and rose garden. Or tour some of the Yadkin Valley wineries, starting in Advance, five miles away. Have fun in the indoor pool with two giant waterslides, or relax on the patio next to the fireplace. WiFi and our daily hot breakfast are complimentary.

Li’l Man just celebrated turning eight. Birthdays are a big deal. His one complaint is he has a birthday in November and so a pool party is out of the question. Not this year! We received a complimentary stay at The Hampton Inn–Bermuda Run in Advance, NC. It was difficult, but I managed to keep it a surprise.

It helps that our favorite Mexican restaurant is right across the street. It was the perfect rouse to make the surprise truly fun!

The Hampton Inn Hospitality

There’s something about leaving home that calls us back, but at The Hampton Inn, the offer #Hamptonality. It’s hospitality Hampton’s way.

It begins the moment you arrive. I was greeted by a smiling face who made me feel like the only person she was expecting that evening.

She was friendly, welcomed me, and checking in was as simple as saying, “Hello, I’m Julee”.

Within just a few minutes, I had the key cards in hand.

And the kiddos had found the elevator…

All the way to the third floor in just a flash.

Out of the elevator the children headed for the room…the hallways are soothing colors in aqua and brown…

They found our room, #305, without effort

Don’t you love the room number sign? Our room sign had the Adirondack chair, but each room has a different image that reflects tranquility, rest, and relaxation!

Inside the room, my kiddos always check out the bathroom first. I don’t know why, but they do. The Hampton Inn’s bathroom is the stuff my dreams are made of. I LOVE the granite top and the vanity is just spectacular. Plenty of light, a coffee pot, blow dryer and soft, large towels, and feel like pampering against the body!

We stayed in a room with two queen beds.

I’d have been content just getting into pajamas and snuggling in for some reading and television.

The decor at The Hampton Inn–Bermuda Run is beautiful.

I could decorate my entire home in their style.

It’s fun.

It’s soothing.

It’s elegant.

We stayed at The Hampton Inn back in February, and I fell in love with the mirror and chair in their hallway.

And while I would have loved to have roamed the halls of The Hampton Inn, taking in all the beauty and attention to detail, the children knew something greater awaited.

And an indoor pool that is to die for with walls of windows and a temperature warmer than the freezing rain that was outside.

Okay. It’s not just a pool.

The Hampton Inn Bermuda Run offers two waterslides.

Wow! the kiddos were beyond excited.

It was even more fun than they had in February.

Just take a look at the fun and listen to the giggles and squeals!

The kiddos loved it and swam for hours. It was relaxing for me.

I read on my kindle and enjoyed The Hampton Inn’s complimentary wi-fi…

They made friends, and I ordered pizza.

There were cries. They didn’t want to leave to eat, so they made the best of it and ate poolside.

Then there was some relaxing and posing next to the living palm trees!

And they were lounging in the whirlpool!

Finally, after four-and-a-half hours, we headed back to the room. They showered and enjoyed the incredible-smelling toiletries.

And then, as soon as their little heads hit the pillows, they dream of doing it all again tomorrow.

It gave me time to consider working from the workspace inside the room…

or going to the state-of-the-art exercise room…

In the end, I laid on the bed…absolutely the MOST comfortable mattress my body has ever encountered.

The sheets were incredible, soft, and luxurious.

The Hampton Inn takes pride in washing the duvet and sheets after every guest!

I slept well.

Then morning came, and we headed down for more of The Hampton Inn Hamptonality!

Hampton Inn Dining Room #hamptonality

Isn’t the dining room stunning?

We loved it so much in February when we chose to do our photoshoot for All You Magazine for the summer edition, and our feature End the Dinner Dilemma and Engage Your Family.

Not only is it beautiful, but The Hampton Inn’s dining room offers a breakfast bar with so much selection you’ll think you’ve hired a kitchen staff just for you.

And it goes on…

Muffins and pastries are galore… there are waffles you make with syrup—bagels and cream cheese, or peanut butter, fresh fruit, juice, milk.

There’s a whole table dedicated to coffees, teas, and hot breakfast like oatmeal with so many things added, and this…

After breakfast, we stopped by the arcade on our way back up to our room to change into swimming suits to hit the water slides one last time.

The kiddos had a blast playing Ms. Pacman, the Claw Machine, but their favorite was the Elvis Pinball machine!

We learned Li’l Man, might be a Pinball Wizard!

The Hampton Inn is a place that, once you stay, you’ll always want to return.

It’s a home away from home.

Friendly people who make your stay have all the fluff you dream of a night or two away from home having—attention to detail and all the comforts you demand.

It’s The Hampton Inn’s way of showing #Hamptonality!
