Anyone with kiddos knows shoulders are a weak spot on children. They hold up the bodies heaviest part, the head. Kiddy USA knows this and uses a high-performance material in the head and shoulder areas. It is designed and shaped specifically to extend the best protection in the event of an accident.
The car seat also offers a Kiddy Shock Absorber (KSA): For the first time, a children’s car seat has taken proven ‘crumple zone’ technology from the car industry to make an even safer car seat for older children. The Kiddy Shock Absorber is situated on both sides of the seat shell. The vehicle seatbelt rests against the KSA when installed properly. In the event of a collision, the force of impact is transferred into the KSA and deforms the special crumple zone materials inside. No other car seat manufacturer offers this fantastic new feature which is patented by kiddy.
The Kiddy K-Fix Connectors provide an easy connection to the vehicle’s LATCH system located between the seat back and seat cushion. Including a detailed list of vehicle types.
One of the first things Miss M commented on was that her legs no longer fall asleep on the longer rides. In fact, Cruiserfix Pro is the only manufacturer that offers a leg extension in the car seat for added comfort and safety. They are also the ONLY car seat manufacturer to carry an Aktion Gesunder Rucken (AGR) Recommendation. This campaign for healthier backs offers a seal of approval award on products that have had their back-friendly construction tested by an independent review panel of medical and scientific experts.
The Kiddy Cruiserfix Pro is available through amazon.com
We love this car seat and the features that make it truly comfortable and safe!

We have been using two different Kiddy seats for our fella here in Europe for the last 18 months (he is now 3 and the range of seats available here is more extensive) and we absolutely love these seats. They provide excellent side impact protection, are easy for a nice in car snooze, they are mega easy to install and utilise the impact shields and he seems so very comfortable. I would really recommend this seat. (and I am in no way sponsored by Kiddy) 😉
Aren’t kids safest in the backseat? Is this car sear rated to prevent air bags from suffocating your child? Just curious i have never seen a child placed in the front seat of a car in a car seat?
They are, however, my car is actually a Chevy s10 pickup and there is NO backseat and I have the airbag turned off. Thanks for bringing up this great point.
I have an almost 4 year old (he will be 4 may 17) he would love this. Hope i could win it for him.
I would love to win this for our growing toddler!!
I’m curious; how tall is your daughter? She looks comfortable enough in her seat, and it’s good that her legs are not numb, but this is not an easily tried out booster and my kids are not easily impressed. They are in car seats well past when typical kids are out of them.
She is 53.75″ tall. She has very long legs (I call her “grasshopper”). She loves this seat so much. It is very comfortable for her and the adjustable leg extension allows added comfort. She is 9 and has no issue being in THIS car seat!
