Executive Shoppe Review

Hercules Swiss Army Knife Review

From the beginning, my husband has loved the Swiss Army brand when it has come to knives. He carries one with him always. I tease him that his knives are like a woman’s handbag and belt. He points out that his is far more useful….it is a tool.

It is impossible to roll my eyes far enough back in my head to accommodate him.

Today, his selection for review from the Executive Gift Shoppe arrived. He could have selected anything, and yet his heartbeat loudest for the Hercules Swiss Army Knife. There’s a reason why marketing named this knife Hercules. Like its Greek predecessor, this knife can muscle its way out of virtually almost any situation.

Measuring 4.5″ x 1.25″ x 1.25″ in a closed position it’s large compared to most pocket knives. The Hercules has all the tools to make you an outdoor survivalist: Corkscrew, Can opener with a small screwdriver, Bottle opener with large screwdriver and wire stripper, reamer, Toothpick, Tweezers, Keyring, Wood saw, Scissors, Long small Philips screwdriver, pliers with a wire cutter and wire crimper and Phillips screwdriver. It has 17 tools. While it is compact, the tools are larger in size giving more flexibility and practicality to tools like scissors and pliers.

Once through each of the tools stored in this Swiss Army Knife, the conclusion is that the best feature is the longer, locking knife blade.

My oldest made a comment on the casing design. It’s not the smooth shiny red of the traditional Swiss Army brand. Instead, this is a dull, pitted, maroon covering. It’s still attractive and provides far more grip than Swiss Army before the Hercules.

I’ve been replaced. Hercules Swiss Army Knife is truly a companion for backpacking, outdoors, and beyond everyday needs. It’s larger than most knives but has more realistic-sized tools.

The Executive Gift Shoppe has one of the largest Swiss Army Knife selections as well as a great variety of other items for gift giving or recognizing someone who goes above and beyond.

I was sent the Hercules Swiss Army Knife through The Executive Gift Shoppe and Family Review Network in order to facilitate an honest review. No other compensation was received. The opinions expressed are my own and were in no way influenced by the sponsor. Others experience may vary.
