*A note about Honey and Dogs:

Honey in small quantities is generally safe for dogs. However, it’s important to consult your veterinarian before using honey, especially for diabetic, obese, or immunodeficient dogs. Please watch for any adverse reactions such as vomiting, diarrhea, or loss of appetite, and contact your pet’s veterinarian if these symptoms occur.

Please consult your vet for appropriate honey quantities based on your dog’s weight:

  • Small dogs (under 10 lbs): ¼ teaspoon per day
  • Medium dogs (10-20 lbs): ½ teaspoon per day
  • Larger dogs (20-50 lbs): 1 teaspoon per day
  • Large-breed dogs (over 50 lbs): 1 ½ to 2 teaspoons per day
