Pamper Mom at Sanctuary Day Spa

Jake’s wedding is fast approaching. It’s SATURDAY! Last week I took a break and spent the afternoon pampered at Sanctuary Day Spa with a 60-minute pedicure and lunch! It was a slice of heaven and so rejuvenating.

I loved the waiting room.

The music was so soothing, and the couch surrounded by warm colors was so easy to get comfortable in.

Then I met Christy, my pedicurist. She was amazing.

I loved that she was so personal.

She remembered names as I went on and on about Jake getting married.

She shared the details of her wedding last September and her life’s adventures.

It was like I had known her my entire life.

The woman working on another lady’s feet beside her was also personable.

The three of us bantered and made conversation like we were schoolgirls.

They even helped me pick the perfect color for my toes to be superstars at the wedding.

I had an amazing lunch.

The molasses bread with chicken salad was to die for!

Towards the end, Jake arrived for a Mother-Son Date.

He came in where I was being pampered, and Christy and company made him feel like he was part of the gang.

In fact, as we were talking about his honeymoon, he commented that while they are going to Disneyland (Becky’s a HUGE Disney fan), he someday wants to go to Florence, Italy.

It couldn’t have been more perfect because shortly after, I asked Christy’s counterpart where her accent was from, and in the most beautiful language, she shared Italy, near Croatia.

We laughed at the thought of Jake showing up at her father’s house!

When it was over, I felt so relaxed, and my feet were stunning.

Truly it was an amazing experience and would make a great gift for Mother’s Day!
