Pot O’ Golden Milk Latte

This Pot O’ Golden Milk latte is a warm cup of creamy goodness.

Whether you make it to start your morning or end your day, you’re sure to find indulgence in this latte that combines turmeric, ginger, cardamom, and honey with fairlife ultra-pasterized 2% milk.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup 1% fairlife low fat ultra-filtered milk
  • 1 cinnamon stick (or ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon)
  • 1 (1-inch) piece turmeric, grated (or ½ teaspoon ground turmeric)
  • 1 (1/2 inch) piece ginger, grated (or ¼ teaspoon ground ginger)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup)
  • pinch black pepper
  • pinch ground cardamom, cloves or nutmeg (optional)
  • ground cinnamon (for serving)

 

Instructions:

  1. Whisk milk, cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, honey, black pepper, and any additional spices desired in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring the mixture to a low boil, then reduce heat and simmer until incorporated, 5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and taste, adjusting flavors and sweetener as needed.
  4. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into mugs and top with a dash of cinnamon.
  5. Use a milk frother and froth for a couple of minutes until you reach your desired froth level.
