My Ribbon Barrette Maker Review

Remember the 1980s? What an amazing decade. I remember having black knickers and this black and white striped shirt. It was the first outfit I bought with my own money and I wanted the perfect accessory–a ribbon barrette! I tried to make my own with no instructions, but it was so fast it wouldn’t close. Now My Ribbon Barrette Maker brings back the popular 80’s barrette-making trend.

One Saturday, The Divine Miss M and I sat down to do the fun craft project. I enjoyed sharing with her this part of my childhood. I really loved that, in the end, her first attempt at making a ribbon barrette was sucessful and something she absolutely loves!

We’re not alone in thinking this craft is awesome; My Ribbon Barrette Maker has already won three top industry awards; Dr. Toy’s Best Vacation Toy Award, 2011 Tillywig Best Family Fun Award and the 2011 Creative Child Magazine’s Kid Award are all well deserved on My Ribbon Barrette Makers list of recognition!

With My Ribbon Barrette Maker, the process of creating fashionable and fun barrettes is easy. .

There’s just no denying it: 1980s fashions are back in style. Embrace the trend with this classic ribbon barrette. Nothing says the 80′s quite like classic retro ribbon barrettes.

The Divine Miss M did a great job on her first Ribbon Barrette. It closed! She loves wearing it and is looking forward to making more for her friends. It’s not perfect, but she loves it and had a blast making it!
