Review: Yandy.com

50 Days ’til Halloween

My little goblins are dreaming about the Fall festivities that are growing near. They’ve been trying come to negotiations with each other on what the perfect costume will be this year. There are just so many options.
To say we love Halloween would be selling ourselves short. It’s an event at our house. Decorating and getting out in our community for the festivals that celebrate is truly what we look forward to all year. Picking the perfect costume is key to the fun–and the more events we can find to attend, the more dress options we get!
When Yandy.com sent me a $60 online code to make my selection I was thrilled. While I had the idea that I needed something Renaissance to match the kiddos, I couldn’t help but look through the vast selection of Women’s Costumes. I like options and Yandy.com has plenty!
I love the Yandy.com website and its user-friendly features that help select a costume by size, price, or color. If you haven’t a clue or just like the endless possibilities venture into the “view all”. It’s impressive.
In the end, my namesake won and I selected the Juliet costume. Thanks to super fast shipping I had my costume in three days and wow! It’s perfect! I was worried it would be too short for the sometimes crisp weather, not to mention attending family-friendly events, however, after trying it on, I can comfortably add tights and represent Mommydom with class.
The fabric is luxurious and the stitching is serious craftsmanship–not your typical flimsy adult costume. The dress is a jacquard material with a gold lace-up bodice complete with bow trim. It includes a braided headpiece with chiffon vein, a choker, and a garter with a poison bottle. It’s as romantic as the story Shakespeare told!

I absolutely love the Queen of Hearts Costume and am going to work my magic to see if I can’t talk my gang into an all-out Alice in Wonderland theme next year!

The Sparta Queen is another one I pondered. It covers far more–if only my husband was built like a Spartan–wouldn’t that be the perfect accessory to this costume?

My six year old begged me to be the Sugar Plum Fairy. Can you imagine? Maybe when I lose all my extra weight I’ll reward myself!

One of the features I absolutely love about Yandy.com is when you select a costume, you see exactly what you need to make the costume just as it appears. Accessories, wigs, and more!

Take the Cyndi Lauper costume, and trust me, being a product of the 1980s, it was difficult to resist this one.

Select the costume and then Yandi.com shows you to complete the look.

You can add the Cyndi Lauper wig to bring out your True Colors.

The choices for this costume also reminds us that no outfit in the 80s was complete without the Knit Leg Warmers–for the Cyndi Lauper look, any color would work–she was a rainbow in appearance!
Regardless of your costume preference, Yandy.com has sizing up to a Women’s Plus Size 4x and shows the sizing chart to take the guesswork out of will it fit?
If you’ve got it; Haunt it with Yandy.com

I received the Juliet Costume from Yandy.com and Family Review Network in order to facilitate an honest review. No other compensation was received. The opinions are my own and were in now way influenced by the sponsor. Others experience may vary.
