Recipe: Chewy Granola Cookies

A Healthier Cookie

Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 cup unsifted, all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup rolled oats
1.5 cups Nature’s Hand Granola
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Blend together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Blend in vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, soda and salt; stir until combined. Stir in oat, granola and chocolate chips.

Crop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until edges are brown and center is soft. Let cool a few minutes on pan. remove from pan; cool completely.

Yields: About 48 cookies.
