Power Rangers Samurai

Premiers February 7 on Nickelodeon

If you caught the January 10 issue of TV Guide then you know there’s a new version of Power Rangers coming to television, Power Rangers Samuari. Tomorrow I’ll be sharing our love for Power Rangers, dating back to 1993 and the infamous story of Tommy losing his powers and turning into the White Ranger nearly foiling a Christmas at our house!

The brand new show premieres February 7th at 8pm on Nickelodeon! This new generation of heroes explodes and the battle against the bad guys continues to be the theme. Meet Jayden, Kevin, Mia, Emily and Mike as they take on the mystical Samurai Symbols of Power to fight evil using the elements of Water, Fire, Forest, Earth and Sky. Their mentor, Ji and aid from special spirit animals called Zords (Lion, Dragon, Ape, Turtle and Bear) help prepare them for their battle against the dark forces and the evil Master Xandred.

Power Rangers has been one of the most successful kids action series and Monday’s Premier marks its 19th season. The show has moved from Disney to Nickelodeon and is combining comedy with action-filled story-lines. This all new half-hour series features a new cast of Rangers with never before seen villains, as well as high-octane action, martial arts and advanced special effects. It’s also being produced in HD for some serious viewing!
