28 Day Challenge Results with Personal Trainer Food Before and After

When I partnered with Personal Trainer Food, I committed to 28 days.

I had a lot at stake.

I have tried almost every diet on the market, and while I found success with some, it was slow-moving, and I found it difficult to keep my meals with my family.

More than 100 pounds overweight, I have been on this journey to down-size myself.

In September, you’ll remember that I completed five 5Ks in a matter of four weeks.

My weight didn’t vary, just my endurance.

I was going to the gym, and nothing was happening.

I wanted to move to London and take advantage of London Fitness In-Home Personal Training.

Personal Trainer Food believes it’s 80% about the food and 20% about exercise.

Yeah.

That’s appealing!

Who wants to work out?!

My journey began.

I had the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Red Carpet and a trip to see my children in my future.

I was tired of lying to myself.

In week one on Personal Trainer Food, you remember that I lost 7lbs.

It was a repeat week two with another 7lbs off, for a total of 14lbs.

Week three was rough.

I only lost 0.41.

I’m not going to kid you, I cried.

My husband reminded me that it was a loss and something to celebrate.

Then I started packing for Disney’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Event, and nothing fit me.

The red carpet dress I ordered in my size, too big.

I reordered the dress in the next size down.

When it arrived, too big.

I reordered again, one size smaller, and hoped for the best.

Time was ticking.

I started week four packing my bags.

I tried on everything again.

If it fit, it went with me.

I was terrified of week four.

I couldn’t afford a mistake with a 0.41-pound loss the week before.

I was on my own from Tuesday-Saturday.

This meant I was going to have to implement everything I have learned about portion sizes, meats, vegetables, reading labels.

My first morning in Los Angeles, I woke up and prepared for the ABC TV Event, meeting Samm Hodges and Allison Tolman from Downward Dog, and my idol, Katy Mixon.

My clothes were “Loose”.

That night we screen Born in China and I took this picture in the lobby of the Disney Lot Theater.

I posted it on social media and the next morning, and I woke up to this text from my husband:

It was a whirlwind week, but I stayed committed.

I’m not going to lie, and there were some challenging moments–like I heard the cake pops at the Radio Disney Music Awards Viewing Party Presentation were “the best cake pops in the world”…how could I not want a bite of that?!

But I passed.

Wrapping up my Personal Trainer Food 28-day challenge:

I was afraid to stand on the scale.

I am so glad I did.

I have exciting things to share with you.

My 28-day challenge with Personal Trainer Food is over.

Here are my results:

I lost half a shoe size (yep. I went from a size 8.5 to an 8)

I lost a total of 19.2 pounds

I lost a total of 9.5″ from my body.

Here is my before and after:

28-days!

I feel amazing!

In fact, three years ago, when I attended my first Disney Event, I couldn’t make it up the Academy Awards Steps.

I was winded, was sweating profusely (for HOURS after making it to the top).

This time, while I was in Los Angeles,

I hiked RUNYON CANYON!!!

Was it easy?

No…but I did it, and it was something that has been on my bucket list for a long time.

19.2 pounds and 9.5″ plus a half shoe size in 28 days.

It’s been an amazing journey.

I am so excited to begin my second 28-day journey with Personal Fitness Trainer…my goal is 10 pounds by May 3rd.
