Marina Games Take-Out Rolls in Family Game Night Review

Take-Out by Marina Games incorporates the traditional game of rolling dice and makes a great family game. Take Out is for two or more players eight years and older (though my six and 7-year-old learned it quickly.

Play is easy to roll the ten numbered cubes. Then Roll the two white dice. Take out number combinations and repeat. It moves fast, and the kicker is trying to avoid being eliminated.  The challenge is to get rid of all the red dice without scoring any points. After removing all your number combinations, the score is kept by adding the red dice, and the first person to 150 points loses.

I loved this game because it is fun and teaches match skills. There’s counting and adding. It seems to follow the curriculum my children are in at school.

My husband loves this game because it’s fast. It doesn’t require a lot of time, so we can set that we are playing one round or three and no one loses interest in spoiling the fun for others.

Older children and adults will appreciate the strategy-type skills, adding a greater dimension to the game.

Take-Out is a great game for everyone. It is perfect for traveling and would make a great stocking stuffer. It’s truly a game, like its name, that you can Take-Out and play wherever you are!
