Jump Aboard the Smile Train

Little Lamb Kidz New Halo Project

A year before I took on the role of PTA Presidency life went on with volunteers before me. One of them, a dedicated PTA Parent attended Community Council and was the Hospitality Leader during my term. She has a small li’l man, around two years old. Cute as a button kiddo with a million-dollar smile!

It was towards the end of my Presidency that it was brought to my attention that this li’l man had been born with a cleft lip and cleft palate. He had undergone numerous surgeries to repair the deformity. I was stunned. He is beautiful and I would have never known had someone not told me.

Little Lamb Kidz has a new initiative to give back to the children who suffer from cleft lips and cleft palates, Halo tee shirts–it’s a symbol of compassion and support for this pediatric problem.

The Halo™ is a fashionable, 100% pre-shrunk cotton tee shirt featuring a glowing image of a halo on the front – an encouraging symbol well-represented to varying degrees in the scriptures of various faiths.  Each purchase from Little Lamb Kidz™ receives a donation of 10% of all sales to Smile Train, an organization that provides free cleft-related surgery for millions of poor children in developing countries.

The Halo™ tee shirt makes it possible for people who have a passion for this important cause to not only donate money but also raise awareness for it in their daily life.  The Halo™ tee shirt can be purchased at the Little Lamb Kidz website.  It is available in both adult and children sizes.

About Little Lamb Kidz™
Little Lamb Kidz is on a mission to bring a wholesome message of spiritual respect and tolerance to children and families everywhere by providing non-threatening, non-biased products including children’s books and clothing.

What happens when a child is first exposed to children of other faiths?  Without proper guidance, confusion and conflict can set in. Little Lamb Kidz™, LLC and its New Spiritual Child Development™ program provide an avenue to introduce your child to the existence of other faiths in ways that foster respect and understanding. Scripture and beliefs unique to any one religion are left at the door. One way this is accomplished is through a series of fun-loving media characters of multiple faiths that behave and interact like children – they laugh, they live and they love their pals without prejudice or fear.

The goal of Little Lamb Kidz™ is relatively simple in concept, yet at the same time, quite powerful. They aspire to reach all children, of all faiths and backgrounds and help them develop strong spiritual roots which will guide them and ground them for years to come.

I received a Halo Tee Shirt as compensation for this post. No other compensation was received. The opinions are my own and were in no way influenced by the sponsor. Others’ experiences may vary.
