Holiday Gift Guide; Thanksgiving Point’s Harvest Restaurant

Recently I was invited to experience Thanksgiving Point’s Harvest Restaurant through their Blogger Holiday Tour!

The evening started off with a samping from Harvest Restaurant‘s dinner menu.

We met Chef Jason Merryweather who shared with us how most of the herbs used at Harvest Restaurant come right out of Thanksgiving Point’s Gardens. He shared how the menu changes by season and then the fun really began!

With his culinary magic Merryweather began creating our Rock Shrimp Nachos!

Some may see this next photo as one with steam; I, however, prefer to think of it as Merryweather’s “secret potion”!

And what Chef doesn’t want to share his creations?
Rock Shrimp Nachos–housemade tortilla crisps, queso fresco, pico de gallo, avocado, and sweet chili sauce; these are the Macho of all Nachos! Perfect with texture, flavor and a mixture of sweet and spicy. They were amazing and ahem, I could have eaten them all!

While we were feasting on the Nacho Manna, Chef Merryweather wasted no time in preparing Harvest Butternut Squash Soup. He even served it himself!

By the way, Chef Jason Merryweather is in the running for the best Harrison Ford Look-A-Like. I kid you not! But that’s another post…back to the soup!

The Harvest Butternut Squash Soup has a creamy texture and I loved the added flavor from the curried baked pumpkin seeds. It was dy-NUH-mite!

If you’re looking for some great atmosphere, complimented by exquisite food, make Harvest Restaurant a priority! It’s perfect for Date Night, Girl’s Night Out or even just an “I deserve this” moment! Print a $5.00 off coupon to Harvest Restaurant and enjoy yourself!

This is part of my Thanksgiving Point Annual Pass post. I received an Annual Family Pass from Thanksgiving Point. No other compensation was received. The opinions, where expressed are myh own, and were in no way influenced by the sponsor! Others expereinces may vary.
