I wanted something personal and saying what’s happening even before they came to see.
What inspired you to start blogging?
Kim at www.ubercrafter.blogspo.com got me going. I so loved the fact she could share and hear from others that I wanted to be part of it too.
What do you think sets your blog apart from others?
It’s simple, to the point and I hope able to inspire others to not diet but just change their life style and learn to eat less and move more.
What has been your absolute favorite post?
This was my very first post and it tells all and why. There are so many others that are important too but gotta start in the beginning.
What inspires you to blog?
The ability to share my progress, my failures, to possible teach someone something about it all.
Can you tell us a little about your writing process?
Oh dear, there isn’t really a writing process for me. My mind thinks, my fingers type and I’m not much for thinking ahead on my posts, they just happen.
Apart from blogging, what do you like to do?
Tons and tons of things. Camping, fishing, hiking and canoeing. I love sewing and crafting. I love building, making, creating things. I love spending time with my family. We do all of these things together and more.
How do you find time to blog?
Mostly first thing in the morning is the best time or really late in the evening. The rest of the day is usually busy with my wee daycare kids.
What is your greatest accomplishment in life thus far?
In life this year is sticking to my life style change and learning as I go. In life I’d say marrying Jim 30 years ago and having the greatest blessing in the world, my son Mike.
Where do you see yourself in 10-years?
I love to see me right here doing my daycare and enjoying life. If not, just maybe doing my second favorite job, driving truck.
Do you have children, if so how many?
Just Mike. He’s 18, an Eagle Scout, graduating next week and then going into the family business and welding tech school.
What blogs do you follow?
I can’t pick, it’s hard. I follow so many. It all depends on what part of my life I’m working on and what’s happening.
Anything else you’d like to tell us about?
This life style change was in the making for years. When I reached 225 lbs that was unexceptable. I wasn’t able to bend down and pick up anything without pain or not breathing, I wasn’t able to pass the physical for boy scouts and go on any high adventure camping. I wanted to look good too. For all of this I still have a ways to go but so far I am so happy I’ve lost 20 lbs, 35″ of fat and am feeling good.
