Cystex Liquid Cranberry Complex with Proantinox Review

Last summer, I visited my friend, whom I hadn’t seen in a few years. It was the first time I had ever been to his home–outside of when he lived with his parents. There’s always that moment when you take it all in; you pay attention to the details. At this time, I happened to see a bottle of Cystex on his counter. It is a product I have used to prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs).

I asked him, “Do you take this?”

He told me it was something his dad had been taking and recommended, so he was giving it a try. “It seems to help,” he answered.

Anyone who has ever had a UTI knows that the standard advice is lots of water and lots of cranberry juice. While I like the taste of cranberry juice, it isn’t for everyone. In my twenties, I took cranberry capsules. Then I discovered Cystex Liquid Cranberry Complex with Proantinox. It’s a cranberry supplement that is twice as effective as cranberry capsules. Just one tablespoon of Cystex is equivalent to eight glasses of cranberry juice!

My experience, coupled with the fact that my friend, who is paraplegic and experiences UTI’s often, is using it, has made me a believer in the power of Cystex.

Cystex doesn’t have a bitter taste like cranberries. When you pour it from the bottle, it is a light pink/honey color. It has a faint taste of sweetness. It can be taken straight from the tablespoon or mixed in your favorite hot or cold beverage. I’ve drunk it in lemonade and tea, but usually, I measure and drink.

Cystex is sugar-free, lactose-free, and gluten-free. It has a few carbohydrates and less than one percent of your daily value of sodium.  The Proantinox is a patent-pending unique formula that contains: Natural Cranberry Concentrate, D-Mannose (from Cranberries), and Bromelain (a natural anti-inflammatory from pineapple) to support and maintain normal, healthy urinary tract function. Vitamin C (313% of recommended daily value for a 2000 calorie diet) to help maintain adequate urinary acidity and Fruit and Vegetable Nutrients for probiotic intestinal health*

I have had one UTI in my life, and it was enough to have me taking preventative measures. They are prevalent particularly among women, accounting for more than 8.3 million doctor visits each year, making it the second most common type of infection in the body.  And because I have had one, there’s a 20 percent chance I’ll have another! No Way!

Cystex Liquid Cranberry Complex combines the health benefit of eight glasses of cranberry juice in one tablespoon of its unique, convenient Proantinox cranberry formula. More than just cranberry concentrate, its proprietary blend also contains D-Mannose (from cranberries), Bromelain (from pineapple), and vitamin C, a winning combination designed to boost bladder health.

I use the System for my peace of mind. It has one calorie per tablespoon and doesn’t disrupt my daily life. It’s easy to take, and I feel it keeps me from revisiting the discomfort of another UTI. If you have ever had a UTI or suffer from them frequently, pick up a bottle of Cystex and see if it doesn’t make a difference.
