Change of Plans

One of the best things about the holidays is time with family and thanks to Procter and Gamble and Walmart, there’s a “Change Of Plans” allowing us to enjoy family time a little longer.
On January 8, 2011, the made for TV movie, “Change of Plans” will air on Fox 8/7c. This uplifting, family drama, brought to you by Walmart and Procter and Gamble, as part of their effort to bring more high-quality entertainment to families.

Change of Plans has an cast of great actors including Brooke White, Joe Flanigan and Phylicia Rashad, appearances from Randy Jackson, who produced the soundtrack, and NASCAR driver, Jeff Burton. It also has a great storyline that illustrates how in a single moment our lives can be turned upside down.

Brooke White, from American Idol plays Sally Danville, a woman who received a phone call revealing that her best friend from college has passed away in a car accident and named her the legal guardian of her four children–three of whom were adopted from third-world countries. It’s now up to Sally and her husband, Jason (played by Joe Flanigan, “Stargate: Atlantis”) to learn to parent this instant family and help the children transition to life in America and deal with the culture clashes.

I had the opportunity to preview this made for TV movie and found it to be inspiring, touching and at times it even made me laugh. It had the foundation of everyday life and yet how one moment and the time spent with others can bring so much more rewards to life. I love that message and it is one I certainly hope my children learn and prosper from in their own lives.

The Change of Plans soundtrack includes three songs from White, as well as tracks from various recording artists. the Change of Plans DVD and soundtrack will be sold together in a bonus pack exclusively at Walmart. More details will be announced in 2011. For more information visit www.familymovienight.com.

Catch a preview here and then mark your calendars for January 8, 2011 8/7c for some great family time!
