Avon Skin So Soft Hair Removal Cream

I’m hairy. I make Big Foot look like he suffers from alopecia. I’m serious. It’s been my entire life. In the mid-1980s, my mom and I were at the Missouri State Fair. Kathy Mattea, Country Singer, was there and I remember meeting her and when I saw the hair on her arms I said, “Doesn’t all the hair on your arms bother you?” She was very kind and wrapped her arms around me, “Some people will make fun of you. I love it. It is part of my Italian heritage. Be you.”
Even with a superstar giving me such personal advice, the hair on my arms made me self-conscious. I shaved my arms, only to discover that without a daily commitment, they were not touch-friendly nor were they very pretty with the dark stubble.
My aunt saw an infomercial for some cream and she helped me with that, however, it burned me and I spent three weeks healing, looking like a leper or a rug-burned freak!
I bleached the hair, but it was unsightly with the black roots that grew.
Then, one day at work, one of the employees left an Avon catalog on my desk. More to support her than anything I selected the Skin So Soft Hair Removal Cream. When it arrived, I thanked her, took it home, and put it away. Then one weekend I decided, ‘What the heck!” and tried it.

It went on very smooth. The directions suggested that I apply it heavily and I did. I waited three minutes and then with a warm, wet washcloth wiped it…and my arm hair off! I couldn’t believe it! I can’t smell, but my husband did say it smelled like a depilatory, though with a fresh scent making it milder than others I had used in the past.
The Skin So Soft Hair Removal Cream has been a part of me for four years. I love the results and in addition to it removing hair, it leaves my Skin So Soft!
