2011 Utah State Fair Entries

Today we dropped off the projects The Divine Miss M and Beauty Queen have been making all summer. It’s quite the assortment.

This is The Divine Miss M’s favorite:

Beauty Queen taught The Divine Miss M to iron and both girls love ironing.

Here’s more detail on the banner’s spider:

The Divine Miss M also made this crayon roll:

The Divine Miss M created this petal apron from an old bed skirt and curtains:

She created this bed cubby. It tucks between the bed’s mattress and box-spring and hangs down to hold books, pens/pencils and whatever!

Finally, the very first item she made. A cheetah wallet. Hand sewn!

The Beauty Queen entered only one item. A Snowman Placemat. She pieced together the pieces, hand stitched around them all and then used the sewing machine for the border.

We’ll let you know how they all did next Friday night when we attend the Utah State Fair!
