Harmony Valley Review

As we pursue a healthier lifestyle, organic and healthier food options are becoming more common at our house. HarmonyValley is a great option. My Zac is a vegetarian and initially I was concerned that there was going to be a division in food. Turns out we’re working together and enjoying the journey of food.

Harmony Valley

Harmony Valley Vegetarian Burger Mix

Yesterday, Charlotte the Great was coming over and Zac stepped up to make some great-tasting vegetarian burgers with Harmony Valley’s Vegetarian Hamburger Mix. I watched as Zac made the burgers with such simplicity–add water, refrigerate for 15 minutes.

I read the label and they are a great source of fiber, protein and have no trans fats or cholesterol.

Cooking the Harmony Valley Burger Mix

By adding water, Harmony Valley’s Vegetarian Hamburger Mix created one pound of meat substitute. He formed them into patties and cooked them in a pan on the stove.

Then he topped them with zucchini, red bell pepper, mangoes and sprouts. They were beautiful and tasty. Even Charlotte the Great, who has never eaten a vegetarian burger thought it was good. When we revealed that they were meatless she said, “Well, how about that. Even the texture is great!”
