Radio Disney Music Awards Viewing Party: Trivia, Snacks and Decor Ideas #RMDA

It’s award season, and for my kiddos, that means a family night with the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards on Sunday, April 30, 2017.

The awards will be handed out at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles this year.

While there will be so many celebrities, the Radio Disney Music Awards are voted on by the only people who matter, the fans. It’s what my kiddos love MOST about this awards show. They have a voice!

Sure. There are trophies, and a little thing called the  “Golden Mickey” trophy (Ardy).

Some of the most popular singers and songwriters will take the stage between award presentations. The singers Jordan Fisher, Kelsea Ballerini and Sofia Carson, the actress Jenna Ortega and Radio Disney’s host Alex Aiono were chosen through a Twitter poll by fans.

This is not to say the awards themselves aren’t pretty spectacular. It’s an exciting lineup of award nominees. Check them out and cast your vote now to help your favorite claim the coveted ARDY in the following categories:

• You Know You Love Them – Best Music Group
• She’s The One – Best Female Artist
• He’s The One – Best Male Artist
• The Bestest – Song Of The Year
• XOXO – Best Crush Song
• The Buzz – Breakout Artist Of The Year
• The Freshest – Best New Artist
• So Happy – Best Song That Makes You Smile
• #COOL – Radio Disney’s Most Talked About Artist
• Stuck In Our Heads – Best Song To Lip Sync To
• That’s My Jam – Best Anthem

The point is that this Sunday, April 30 is Music’s Biggest Night for Families!

There’s no better time to throw Radio Disney Music Awards Viewing Party and help with ideas and entertainment. Candice Huckeba from Radio Disney shares trivia and more you can do during the party!
