“The Omen” franchise is a series of horror films that revolve around the ominous and sinister events surrounding Damien Thorn, who is revealed to be the Antichrist. The franchise began with “The Omen” in 1976, directed by Richard Donner and starring Gregory Peck and Lee Remick. The film follows an American ambassador who slowly realizes that his adopted son, Damien, is the Antichrist.

The success of the first film led to several sequels:

  • “Damien: Omen II” (1978) follows Damien as a teenager discovering his dark destiny.
  • “Omen III: The Final Conflict” (1981) portrays Damien as an adult, ascending to a position of power and facing off against those who seek to stop him.
  • “Omen IV: The Awakening” (1991) introduces a new family dealing with the arrival of the Antichrist in the form of a young girl.
