Project Atticus: Meet Jordan and Desiree

Boating offers great entertainment. For Jordan and Desiree, the journey of sailing around the world on a sailboat is just beginning. Two individuals whose life led them to the fork in the road where, together, they made the decision to leave it all behind. To take the path less traveled in order to discover simplicity and something more.

“The Atticus” is out there, and they are on a quest to find her, buy her, refit, and sail her around the world.

Join me as I follow them on this quest known as “Project Atticus” on an adventure that will be one of wonder and one of awe.

The Atticus will be named after the character in To Kill a Mockingbird. He is a fair man who once uttered the words, “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view . . . until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.” (chapter 3) I think those words are fitting for this adventure. Imagine the world from a different point of view from one far more “human” than the media shares. then you are discovering people and place by living in and with them, “walk around in it” and maybe changing the world one view at a time.

Jordan perhaps found his love for sailing from his boating excursions with his dad.

I think it is a beautiful goal. Join me as I follow Jordan and Desiree on their dream of adventure.

They had a beautiful ceremony in Mexico.

Is Desiree from Project Atticus Pregnant?

Desiree from Project Atticus was pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in December 2022.

They named her Isa.

Isa was diagnosed with PHACE syndrome, and Jordan and Desiree are also sharing this journey.
