Mornings for me are filled with chaos. Getting up, off to work, and beginning the day. It moves quickly. Sometimes, so quickly I fail to eat breakfast or at least one that’s relatively healthy. This is where Dave’s Naturals Overnight Oats comes in.
I received Overnight Oats and thought, ‘I like oats.’
The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Dave’s Naturals.
I looked at the cups. Each filled with organic whole grain oats, chia seeds, organic cane sugar, oat bran, and natural flavors.
About those flavors:
- Blueberry Almond Vanilla Overnight Oats – This is a simple combination of blueberries, almonds, and Sea Salt
- Cinnamon Raisin Overnight Oats – Raisins, cinnamon, and sea salt. Lots of raisins. Mmmm. Sweetness to be devoured.
- Apple Nut Overnight Oats – Sweet apples, cinnamon, almonds and Sea Salt. It was my first choice.
Preparation is easy.
Add Milk or water.
Place lid on and place on a shelf in the refrigerator before you go to bed.
Eat it now.
Or pop it in the microwave for a delicious oats breakfast.
I love the texture. They are soft and creamy. Each cup delivers bite after bite of oats, fruit and the perfect seasoning of cinnamon.
Each cup has eight to nine grams of protein (varies by flavor) with six grams of fiber.
Overnight Oats by Dave’s Naturals are made in the USA and are certified gluten-free.
I love the flavor and variety of Overnight Oats, and while they aren’t yet available at retailers, they are seeking funding to make in large batch quantities on the production line and bring the cost down. Check out Overnight Oats on Kickstarter to learn more.
While you wait, check out the beauty of Dave’s Naturals Overnight Oats right out of the fridge! Chia Seeds, chunks of apple, all that cinnamon. I wish this were scratch-and-sniff.
