Smart Pack Sac Lunch Sac Review

My best buddy from when I was sixteen is in a wheelchair, so when I had the opportunity to review Smart Pack Sacs, I was excited. I thought it would be the perfect accessory to his wheelchair. Reviewing their site, I thought this was an incredible company with some nifty great products.

While I have often been told the only thing my friend can’t do is walk, I realize others may not be so fortunate. I see people in manual and electric wheelchairs and even folks with walkers. Many require medical supplies, and sadly, they aren’t always stylish. Here’s where Smart Pack Sacs comes into play. Parents, therapists, teachers, students, and caregivers worked with Alexie Norton, seamstress for Liberty Street Baggage. Together, they created a brand new line of sturdy, durable and stylish accessory bags to keep all the essentials within reach.

I received the Smart Pack Sac Lunch Sac. I think it’s a great multi-purpose bag. It’s an outstanding lunch bag. It would be great to keep medicine in with the two deep pockets or use it as a carry-all for virtually anything.
Smart Pack Sac Back
The bag, in addition to the two deep pockets, has velcro closures. I’ve been with my grandma enough to know that there is some beauty in this. Velcro closes the bag and keeps things inside the bag. Trust me. It’s a beautiful thing.
The outside is beautiful with a soft, almost suede-type material. It’s also where the thought of giving it to my friend in the wheelchair went out the window…it’s a stunning and soft pink with chocolate polka-dots. This coordinates well with the brown canvas that is the bag.
After examining this bag, I gave it to my grandma. She forgets to eat, but this back is “pretty enough” that she loves to be seen with it. I’ve convinced her to pack something, no matter how light, and keep it in the bag. I made her a cloth napkin to match, so she feels glamourous when she takes out her lunch.  I can even pack her a sandwich and add it to the bag when I know we are going to a doctor’s appointment or running along a leg of errands. I can make sure she’s okay and eating. That’s important to me.
