Nutrisystem: The Journey of a Hero Week 3 #NSNation

Don’t you love when you set a goal and reach it? I do!

This week my goal was to really commit to drinking more water. Nutrisystem is set up so you drink two of their water bottles and you have met your daily water intake. It’s simplicity at its best!

There were two days that I didn’t do well in drinking two bottles, but I didn’t give up.

It was a great sense of accomplishment the other five days when I could cross off the water and three days I even exceeded the two bottles which made me feel like a champion.

In working on this goal, I realize I need to really buckle down on the journaling of what I eat. Nutrisystem comes with a planner that makes it so easy. I need to put my inherently lazy standards aside and just do it. This is my goal this week.

On Saturday, the kiddos and I went to the Thanksgiving Point Easter Eggstreme event and I was able to get into my jeans. They weren’t terribly comfortable, but I managed to zip them up and wear them for five hours! I was so excited!

Last week I missed my weigh in.

This week I stood on the scale and I’m down 3.2 pounds!

It’s a total of 6.6 pounds!

About Nutrisystem:

Nutrisystem is a commercial weight loss program that provides pre-packaged meals and snacks to help individuals lose weight in a convenient and structured manner. The program was first introduced in 1972 and has since gained popularity due to its simplicity and ease of use.

The Nutrisystem program is designed to provide portion-controlled, nutritionally balanced meals that are low in calories, carbohydrates, and fats. The meals are delivered directly to the customer’s doorstep, eliminating the need for meal planning and cooking. The program offers various plans tailored to different dietary needs, including options for vegetarians and individuals with diabetes.

The Nutrisystem meals typically consist of a combination of shelf-stable and frozen foods, such as breakfast bars, shakes, soups, pasta, and snacks. Customers are encouraged to supplement their Nutrisystem meals with fresh fruits, vegetables, and dairy products for a well-rounded diet.

In addition to the pre-packaged meals, Nutrisystem provides access to a support system that includes online tools, tracking apps, and counseling services. These resources aim to assist individuals in staying on track with their weight loss goals, offering guidance, motivation, and education on healthy eating habits.

It’s important to note that while Nutrisystem can be an effective tool for weight loss, it is not a long-term solution on its own. It is intended as a short-term program to help kickstart weight loss and encourage healthier eating habits. To maintain weight loss and overall health, individuals are encouraged to transition to a sustainable and balanced diet after completing the Nutrisystem program.

As with any weight loss program, it is advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before starting Nutrisystem, particularly if you have any underlying health conditions or dietary restrictions. They can provide personalized guidance and ensure that the program aligns with your specific needs and goals.
