Blog: A Vision to Remember
How did your blog’s name come to be?
I started out with I am only 1 woman. I felt that the saying “I am only 1, but still I am 1” described my feeling that I could accomplish anything. In the last couple of months, I have changed my name to A Vision to Remember. That is my business name, and I am trying to get a cohesive online presence.
What inspired you to start blogging?
A friend of mine kept telling me that I needed to start a blog so that we could keep up with each other. I decided to start this blog to test the waters, so to speak. Then I started my family blog (private) and focused on that for a while. I have started blogging on my craft blog in the last six months or so.
What do you think sets your blog apart from others?
I love to share lots of fun and easy tutorials for my readers. Each Saturday, I also host a link party on my blog called “Check ME Out Saturday.” I think the thing that sets me apart is that I am an average person, trying to go through my very ordinary life while documenting my crafty side.
What has been your absolute favorite post?
My favorite post is a ribbon skirt tutorial part 1 and part 2
What inspires you to blog?
I have always loved to make things. I love being able to document where I have been with my crafting life. I also love to share with others my ideas.
Can you tell us a little about your writing process?
I don’t have a process. Each Saturday, I have a link party for people to share their creations, and then on Friday, I like to do blog swaps. Other than that. I post during the week the things that I have been up to.
Apart from blogging, what do you like to do?
I have an Etsy shop. I also decorate weddings. I have two little girls, and they take most of my time :)
How do you find time to blog?
Most of the time, I blog while the baby is asleep and my toddler is playing. It is fun to blog with my daughter. She loves seeing pictures of things we have made together on my computer.
What is your greatest accomplishment in life thus far?
My two girls and getting married to my hubby seven years ago
Where do you see yourself in 10-years?
I see myself as a mom of at least two girls :) I also see myself as a mom that can stay at home with my kids. I don’t see myself any differently from who I am today (Except with older kids :) One goal that I have in 5 years is to continue growing my businesses.

Two girls and a dog (and we all know that sometimes dogs are more work than kids)
