Diversity Means….2011 PTA Reflections Entries

Since early summer when my kiddos found the theme for the 2011 PTA Reflections entries we’ve been having some wonderful discussions centered around diversity. During the month of October Li’l Man and The Divine Miss M spent hours creating and thinking about the topic and producing their entries.

Here is The Divine Miss M’s entry for Visual Arts:

Diversity means...all shapes and colors are beautiful

Diversity means…all shapes and colors are beautiful

I love what The Divine Miss M took from our conversations. Her art project is “All Shapes and Colors are Beautiful”

To depict this beyond just the colors and the different leaves, she made the outline and veins of the leaves with one word the describes Diversity.

When she's not writing, Julee enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new baking recipes.
