Being happy, healthy, and generally positive about the way you look is important to your overall wellbeing. The better you feel about yourself, the more confident you will become.

Looking your best and feeling great doesn’t have to be a challenge. Whether you’re a busy mother, working 9 to 5, or anything in between, there are ways to stay healthy and look stunning without wasting hours of your time.

Check out this article will give you some tips on how you can feel and look your best with just a few quick health and beauty hacks.

1. Moisturize Regularly

If you don’t have time to put makeup on in the morning but still want to look fresh and bright, slap on a little moisturizer before going about your day.

Moisturizer will revitalize your skin, helping it to stay hydrated and giving it a lovely glow. For an extra boost, put on a little nighttime cream, too, so you wake up looking fresh.

2. Simple Makeup

Simple makeup can go a long way. To look your best, you don’t have to spend time whacking on piles of foundation and mascara.

All you need is a simple powder, a lick of understated lipstick, and a blush to freshen your appearance. If you want your eyes to stand out, you could also use eyelash extensions to brighten and widen your eyes.

3. Hair Hacks

Hair can be tricky, especially in the morning. Sometimes, all you want to do is stick it in a messy bun and leave it be.

A messy bun can work, as can other hairstyles that get hair strands out of your face and look tidy. You only need a minute or two to create a simple but elegant style.

4. Stay Hydrated

You’ll have heard the phrase ‘drink more water.’ Our bodies are about 60% water, and staying hydrated helps keep the organs and the mind functioning properly.

Water can flush out harmful toxins in the body, give you mental clarity, and make your skin look fresh and glowing. Drinking regular cups throughout the day can help you to feel and look much better.

5. Eat Well

Eating well doesn’t take time out of your day. You need to eat, so why not make meals healthy? It’s easy to let fruit and vegetables slip from your diet, but including a few in every meal only takes a minute.

Fruit and veg can help your internal organs work better, provide you with essential vitamins, and improve your skin. Take an apple to work, or have a fruit salad for breakfast to ensure you’re healthy.

6. Exercise Regularly

Exercise can take time, but you can do some things to boost your fitness. If you’re too busy to go to the gym but want to remain active, try taking a short 20-minute stroll during a lunch break.

If you have young children who nap, you could walk them in a pram or do a quick workout. A bit of exercise can go a long way!

7. Try to Relax

When you’re busy, it’s easy to forget to relax. We all do it, but it isn’t good for us.

Make sure you take some time for yourself, whether you have a bath or read a chapter of a book. You don’t have to spend long relaxing, but a short burst now and then will really help you to look and feel your best.
