HARVEY HOWARD RECEIVED “ZERO FATALITIES” AWARD
I have been blessed in my life to meet many people. All have had an impact on me. One changed my life. Harvey Howard.
The owner of Desert Thunder Raceway, has been a promoter of Utah’s Zero Fatalities Campaign. He’s joined by the Utah Department of Highway Safety, the Southeastern Utah Health Departments, and his fourteen-year-old son, Wyatt in getting the word out.
Wyatt is the youngest ever to finish in the top three in the Western US Region and a member of the International Motor contest association. He drives the Zero Fatalities” car, sponsored by Bucyrus, Savage Choice Inc. and Dr. Mark Olson, and can be found at every race he attends giving away promotional items. at every race he attends. Last year he appeared at 35 races in five different states.
In addition to their appearances at racetracks, Harvey and Wyatt share personal time getting involved in promoting the “Zero Fatalities” campaign.
The award was presented to Harvey by Georgina Nowak on October 18, 2010. He was nominated by the Utah Highway Safety Office.
