Udi’s Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies and Brownie Bites Review
Udi’s Gluten Free Food have revolutionized gluten-free foods. They have taken the challenge to create food so delicious, no one will no it’s gluten-free. Trust me. I put it to the test.
After school, not long ago, I served up an after-school snack. The children were excited because I never offer them cookies after school.
Discreetly, I gave them each an Udi’s Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie:
I tried one too. They were extremely moist, which surprised me, AND they tasted like regular cookies. They stay intact, something many gluten-free products we’ve tried in the past did not. The chocolate was delectable! Would the kiddos think the same?
The kiddos thought they were fantastic. I was asked if I made them while they were at school!
While these cookies are delicious, note that they have 110 calories per cookie and 30 percent of the daily saturated fat in a single serving of two cookies. Of course, healthy probably never started with cookies!
When I offered a bite-sized brownie to the kiddos, they briefly questioned my sanity. After all, dinner was to be served soon and I was filling them with their favorites–cookies and brownies.
The kiddos thought the cupcake wrapper was a great touch. They didn’t have to worry about what to do with the brownie, should they decide to savor it (something we are working on at our house). They raved about the chocolate and loved that they were chewy, but “have a texture like muffins”.
We are enjoying the soft, chewy treats from Udi’s. The Divine Miss M can eat them without complaining later that her tummy hurts. They taste like the real deal so gluten free diets can still indulge.
Absolutely an amazingly tasty option for anyone!
