We received Thermal-Aid Zoo and Mini in exchange for this post. All opinions and our love for the cute and cuddly remain our own.
It’s not just the holiday season, it’s also cold and flu season. My kids are wimps when they get sick, which is why we have Thermal-Aid Zoo Animals, the cutest little hot/cold packs. They are perfect for sprains and strains, growing pains, ear aches, headaches, sunburn and flu, and fever symptoms.
We love that they are adorable and have so many animal options:
- Baxter the bunny
- Happy the hippo
- Jo-Jo the monkey
- Tiny the elephant
- Ollie the koala
- Bears named Honey, Tumble, Hunter, Buckley, and Bella
You can store the Thermal-Aid Zoo animals in the freezer for five hours for a cold pack, or heat in the microwave for 45-60 seconds for a heating pad.
The Thermal-Aid Zoo animals are made from natural cotton and specially engineered corn as the heating/cooling component. Keep this in mind if your child has a corn allergy.
We mostly use them for growing pains. They are perfect for soothing the discomfort and help my children get much-needed rest.
We love the convenience of Thermal-Aid Zoo. There is no contending with cables and cords to keep the heating pad on and there is no leaking from frozen peas or ice cubes when we need a cold pack.
Thermal-Aid is kid-friendly and eco-friendly as well, without using chemicals or gels.
How Thermal-Aid Zoo Animals Work
At first glance, Thermal-Aid looks like any stuffed animal, however, inside is a patented, all-natural, specially engineered corn filling. This corn holds the heat or cold for a longer time than traditional heating or cooling packs. That’s extended relief. There are no chemicals, so no worrying about leaking or burns chemicals sometimes cause when they come in contact with skin.
Thermal-Aid Zoo Animals are available in retailers nationwide.
