I am SO excited! My new found friend and our family photographer Rachel Mazzaferro is hosting a model search this month for members of the class of 2013!
You may remember some of her pictures from the blog. She has such an amazing eye for catching personalities on film (or is it digits now?!). Anywho, she has made the switch from broader photography down to just high school seniors to really focus on just one genre of portraiture. How lucky am I that was able to snag Rachel at the right time to capture my sweet little brood?!
Gone are the days of stuffy senior portraits; today’s teen-agers want something more edgy and definitely more personal than the black drape or tuxedo. Rachel at Rue Couture Photography wants to involve seniors in their high school portrait session. Seniors have their own clear ideas about who they are and what they want to remember about high school, and Rachel helps them achieve those memories through some beautiful senior photos. She loves meeting these amazing young people and working through the session from conception to completion with them.
Rachel is hosting an open call for 2013 Senior Models. She is limiting models to a maximum of two per public school and one per private school so spots are extremely limited. You can find out more about her dynamic photography and sessions at her website, Rue Couture.
Also Juniors: I will be selecting next years models this winter so if you are interested in being notified for the 2014 Open Call send me your info also!
Rachel is based in Greenville, South Carolina, but she does travel across the western Carolinas and Eastern Tennessee for sessions when needed. She has a deluxe Charleston package that enables clients to create portraits on the beach; however, please note that you would need to schedule these sessions at least six weeks in advance. She will arrange shoots on weekends or another time if needed.
Now is the time to capture your teens unique personality and talents. Celebrate this amazing milestone with pictures that will be treasured for a lifetime.
You can contact Rachel via her website www.rue-couture.com or like her on Facebook at Rue Couture.
