It may seem hard to believe, but Christmas is going to be here before you know it. The stores have already stocked all of the Christmas decorations, toys have taken over the commercials, and children have begun to fret over whether they have been good enough this year to earn a visit from Santa. If you are like me, getting into the spirit of Christmas becomes harder ever year. But one thing that always seems to put me into the Christmas Spirit is listening to my favorite Christmas classics like Winter Wonderland, Silent Night, or Let It Snow. This year celebrate Christmas with one of your favorite artists, Rod Stewart, as he debuts his first Christmas Album, Merry Christmas, Baby, which is scheduled to release on October 30th.
Rod Stewart has partnered with many great Artists such as Michael Bublé, Mary J. Blige, Cee Lo Green, and Ella Fitzgerald to create masterpiece featuring all of our favorite Christmas songs that is sure to become an instant classic.

Rod Stewart does an excellent rendition of these Christmas songs. Although Rod Stewart stays with the traditional tempo, his sultry voice makes these songs his very own.
As a big fan of Ella Fitzgerald, I would have to say the duet with Ella Fitzgerald, What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve, is my favorite track on the CD. Although, this song doesn’t get a lot of play on the radio, it brings back warm childhood memories of decorating cookies, drinking hot chocolate, watching the snow fall as we anxiously counted down the days until Christmas.
This album is the perfect way to get ready for the Holiday Season, but be warned, it is an album you will want to listen to throughout the entire year.
Rod will be live on HSN on Friday, October 26 at 8:00 p.m. EST. Prior to the HSN Live Concert event, a special pre-show will stream live on HSN’s Facebook page at 7:30 p.m. EST. Check out exclusive behind-the-scenes access as Rod prepares to take the stage! More Information here.
